  • “American Abstract Expressionism of the 1950s: An Illustrated Survey With Artists’ Statements, Artwork, and Biographies” (2003): An outstanding academic title, this publication broadened the scope to include artists from throughout the U.S. and rectified omissions of African American artists, earning high praise for its excellent layout and superb photographs.
  • “American Abstract and Figurative Expressionism: Style is Timely, Art is Timeless” (2009): This survey followed up on her earlier works, showcasing the creative power of individual expressionist artists through the representation of both abstract and figurative works by 58 American painters and sculptors of the post-World War II era.
  • “Albert Kotin, American Abstract Expressionist of the 1950s” (2016): This publication is among the many contributions Dr. Herskovic has made to art history.

In addition to her written works, Dr. Herskovic has produced 27 videos on the art and lives of New York School artists, which have been repeatedly shown on cable TV and listed in "Art on Screen," a joint venture of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the J.
